There are so many things I want to do/buy/teach Julia, that I’ve made a To ___ List. Here we go.
- buy a chemistry set
- buy an electrical engineering kit
- teach to color/draw/paint
- play in the dirt
- make cookies/rice crispy treats
- teach her the difference between herbs
- teach her how to grow herbs
- teach her how to say “herbs”
- build a fort
- put together a dress-up trunk
- put together a treasure chest and hide it
- make a map that leads to aforementioned treasure chest
- hike
- teach her to ride a bike BEFORE she reaches middle school
- teach her how to pluck/take her to wax her eyebrows
- dress her in cute clothes unlike what I wore to my first dance (that’s me in the middle)
- cultivate her love of shoes
- make her live in the dorms in college
- take her camping
- take her to France, Ireland, Wales, Italy, Japan, etc. etc.
- ears pierced/makeup lessons/shaving lessons at 13 years old
- day at the spa at 16 years old
- torture her with She Ra, Princess of Power
- show her how good green veggies can be
- make her understand that a steak should be eaten medium-rare
- let her be a ballerina if she wants
- as long as she takes martial arts lessons
