I found this growing in my back yard and I have no idea what it is. It looks like it’s a baby tree. Joe and I have spend countless hours looking through online plant id databases, most of which stink. So far, the closest we can guess is that it’s a baby peach tree. Joe had jokingly said last night that the leaves look just like peach tree leaves, to which I responded with, “you know, when I was cleaning out the back yard when we first moved in, there were an awful lot of peach pits laying around.” He thought I was joking. I wasn’t. So this is what we’re going with now. I may transplant it to a big pot to see what happens. If anyone out there knows what this plant really is, please tell me! (I suppose the easiest way to tell if it’s really a peach tree is to dig it up by the roots to see if there’s a peach pit attached.)
On other fronts, I want to start a drawing of Julia. I made a new tab called Polls because I need help deciding which photo to draw. What can I say, I’m a girl and have trouble deciding on anything.
